The Fall is here and with that comes vibrantly colored foliage, pumpkin patches, apple picking excursions and of course clothing and accessories to update your Fall wardrobe. Of the many Fall staples that come to mind, leather tall boots rank among the top of the list. From high heels and thigh high boots to suede and flats, there are so many to choose from that it can be difficult to decide where to start. But of the wide variety of styles, tall flat boots are certainly the more practical and functional of out the bunch. They can be worn virtually everyday and provide added comfort especially if you tend to do a lot of walking throughout your day. One of our favorite flat boots are from Loeffler Randall. Their Marti Flat Buckle Boot features a slight wedge and several side buckled straps that add a decorative effect. It's cognac colored leather is the perfect neutral color that will compliment your entire wardrobe. The Marti is also available in black and in mid calf height. Unfortunately there is no side zipper but the wide opening will help to pull on these boots easily. Price: $895.
A large bag is essential if you find yourself having to carry around everything and the kitchen sink. But it can add stress and frustration if you feel as though you are carrying around a black hole of a bag because you're unable to find what you need when you need it. The Donna Hobo Bag by Alexander Wang Bag provides a fashionable solution. The pale pink satchel is made of distressed leather and features ample interior room and plenty of exterior zippered pockets for organization. Another great feature is the center zipper that allows you to extend the bag to another four inches. The tied shoulder strap is a subtle decorative feature and measures at 20" in length. Measurements: 15" W x 13.5" H. Price: $795.
Marc Jacobs has an uncanny ability to create handbags that are immediately classic and sophisticated as well as handbags that are quirky and offbeat yet unexpectedly become classics of their own accord. Perhaps he has that magic touch where for years anything he touches has been successful or maybe we all just love what he does because he is Marc and we expect to be bewildered yet excited about his creations - who knows?
The Marielle Pumps by Brain Atwood are a pair of colorful spotted heels that have a ladylike appeal and charm. Although the color pattern is muted, the hints of yellow and brown add just enough variation to make these color pop. A rosette at the front with an open toe adds a feminine and flirty touch. With heels measuring at 4 1/2" and a price tag of $195 , these are a pair of sexy heels that for women on the shorter side who have always wished they were taller (like me) can make their wish instantly come true. If interested, check for your size because quantities are extremely limited.
Roberto Cavalli is an in your face type of designer. His designs are unapologetically bold and at times risky, but always always intriguing. Cavalli's Gem Heels are that perfect balance. Set against sexy black patent leather, these heels are adorned with gems and crystals that create an instant wow factor to be be worn for years to come. However, the gold tone 4 inch stiletto heels might make them a bit dated but Cavalli's Gem Heels are still strikingly gorgeous. Price: $775.
This may be one of the more unusual rings featured on Luxist but one that captures a stone in its beautiful and natural state. The Tiger's Eye Ring by Ongwat is simply constructed and minimal is design, yet with such a large stone (measures at 2 1/2") being the focal point, this ring stands out. Although tiger eye may not be considered the most luxurious of stones to choose from, the various hues that come through against a gold plated setting is very complimentary. Price: $300.
For any parent with an infant or toddler, a pacifier can be a blessing and your worst nightmare. In times when your little one may not be able to settle themselves down, pacifiers seem to work their magic instantly. Thank goodness! In other times, it can be your worst nightmare. For example - when you can't find a pacifier at all or when you have lost their favorite binky and according to your crying baby no other one will do. And it can be especially problematic when you are trying to ween your little one off the pacifier's magical spell. During the tumultuous times of your little one having a meltdown and you feel as though your head will jump off your body, take a nap and never return, a little humor to lighten the mood may help. The Aristabrat Crystal Pacifier incorporates a bit of fun by extravagantly adorning the typical pacifier with colorful Swarovski crystals and a mad face that will make any baby, parent and passerbys put a smile on their face. Available in blue and pink. Price: $120.
When it comes to Christian Louboutin, I immediately think of high heeled red sole shoes. I never think of flats. Honestly I didn't even realize that Mr. Louboutin even made flats until I found myself browsing through Saks Fifth Avenue. The Adona flats are not your ordinary flats. And why would we expect anything less than fabulous and head turning when coming from the creative mind of Christian Louboutin? These aren't the flats that you can just throw on while walking home from work or while running errands – and with a price tag of $1265, you may not want to run these beauties into the ground. These gorgeous flats have more spunk and unique detailing that make them stand apart from the rest. Reminiscent of his Dillian Heels that we featured, the Adona flats has a similar ruffle detailing but with shiny metallic leather. Pair with sun dress, shorts & tank or virtually any outfit because it will be these shoes that will add the perfect finishing touch to your outfit.
Bright colors and summer fashion seem to go hand in hand. Perhaps it's due to how easily color adds instant excitement and a refreshing sense of newness to virtually any outfit. Take for example L.A.M.B's neon candy colored Rouse Clutch. It's eye-popping orange yet hot pink with a mix of tangerine is certainly eye catching and would make any outfit feel renewed. You could even pair the Rouse Clutch with a simple and understated outfit like skinny jeans, a slouchy white tank and flats and it would add the right amount of punch with seemingly no effort. The Rouse Clutch is made with patent leather accented with pebble leather along the top and features pleating throughout, studded fob in the front, enamel inlaid studs at the sides and top zipper closure. Dimensions: 7"H x 15"L x 3"D.
